The River Camp consist of traditional east african safari tents that are erected under thatched roofs. An ensuite bathroom is attached to the back of each tent that consist of hot water shower, flush toilet, sink. Inside the tent proper are two double beds, chairs, low tables for luggage, simple closets, reading lights. The tent is solar powered with 12 volt system of lights and phone charger. For hair dryers and higher voltage chargers there is a central area. In front of the tent is a porch with chairs, small tables for cold drinks and your binoculars. All porches have a splendid view of the Nile River.

Central dinning room and bar provide excellent 4 course meals, ice cold drinks. The chef packs great picnic lunches and cold drinks to take while you are on game drives. Daily the chef bakes fresh breads and pastries. Our kitchen makes abundant use of all the fresh fruits and vegetables grown locally. Pineapples, bananas, mangos, papayas, melons, passion fruit, oranges, avocados, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes are all available. Dishes made from fish caught the same day from the Nile, are a speciality of the chef.

All drinks are part of your package including coffee, tea, juices, bottled water, sodas, beer, our brand wines and brand liquors. We truck in bottled water for your use and make all ice from bottled water.

Daily laundry is provided to you as part of the package. If it rains allow extra time for drying.

The maids change linen, towels and clean every day when you are out on a game drive.

A locking box exists in each safari tent for your valuables.

A kid's area is set aside under a large palapa for games, reading, snacks, naps. Baby cribs, small people beds, strollers are all available. Our Kid's safari staff is specially trained to keep your youngster busy and happy.

There is a dock area down in front where the Swamp Air boats are kept.

Communications via mobile phone and internet are in the office tent.
