On our 8,10 and 13 day winged safaris based out of River Camp you will definitly see:

• Chimpanzees
• Black and White Colobus Monkeys
• Vervet Monkeys
• Olive Baboons

Also on the 13 day Safari you will see the rare Mountain Gorilla.

There is also a chance to see the following primates while on safari, however they are more elusive:

• Patas Monkeys
• L'Hoest's Monkeys
• Blue Monkeys
• Pottos

Next to the River Camp is the Ajai Game Reserve. This game reserve is probably one of the best locations to see the Black & White Colobus in Uganda. A camera with telephoto lense is a must to capture this beautiful primate jumping from tree to tree with its long flowing black and white hair.

The Olive Baboon is found in family troops all over Uganda. This primate can very bold and may even approach you, or enter your safari vehicle to steal things, like your sun glasses or your lunch.

New cabins at the Kaniyo Padidi Lodge in Budongo Forest (in the southern part of Murchison Falls National Park system). From here we take you to look at habituated groups of Chimpanzees on our 8,10 and 13 day winged safaris. A Jane Goodall Foundation backed project.
